I think she's earnt a little of my respect now. I like people who can take a joke. If someone said shit about me on their site...lol which quite a few have done from time to time... you wouldnt see me crying about it.
So way to go, kid. I like you that tiny bit now, nice to see you dont take yourself too seriously like some.

dear anonymous commenter and emailer
sorry that i've offended you in some way, or your daughter, whom i can only assume is the afore mentioned pint-sized singer of the southern area.
since you brought up the subject of defamation and thought it would be scary to email me legal excerpts trying to seem professional, i may remind you that the 2 previous emails sent that, once again anonymously, fired abusive comments at me was anything but professional.
this reaffirms, if you are who i think you are, my opinion of how 'sad' and 'pathetic' you are... gee arent they words you used to describe me???
wow we're twins!
in all seriousness, if you really want to cry about what i wrote i'll take it down, but for the record, out of the many many people that i've expressed my opinion about on this site, you are the only party to have a hissy fit about it.
take a joke.
blogs are basically personal diaries to record thoughts and opinions, very few have factual information (and for the record the quote in the post was factual... she did say that) and fewer will talk of people in a positive manner.
they're there to bitch.
still if your going to sook and send emails and flail your arms, it's alot easier to me to just delete the post than to hear you cry.
Perhaps i'll print it out and stick it in my own diary at home -- or will that be defamation?????????
Hope this makes you feel better, princess.
Loves of love and hugs and smooches and rubs and cuddles and sqeezes,
Vicki

p.s
this is not the only site that has pointed out insipid things the afore mentioned party has said and done... if you want to claim defamation on all of them, you'll have a big job. Have a nice life.

p.p.s
and by the way, if you're going to have a say, be man enough to put your name on it. Anonymous comments and emails are so cowardly. I own up to what I write, how about you?

today is the day that you realise things you always knew, but forgot for a season or two.
today is the day when the rolling sun bathes everything in new paint;
when you step onto the porch in your bare feet and the tiles are cool, not cold, on your skin.
it's the day you walk along the beach, toes in the water, staring at the tiny waves that stretch out to you to say hello, and when you leave the sand you look back and the water says i'll see you tomorrow.
it's the day you realise it wont rain forever,
that the sky is a blue topaz behind the grey and purple quilt of clouds blanketed over the winter world, thick like the honey you spread on your toast on a frosty morning.
today is the day when you decide that the grass needs cutting and the roof needs painting and the umbrella can probably live behind the back door again for a while;
when you drive along the road and notice for the first time in what seems like far too long you notice just how many Wattle and Almond trees are growing around you, obvious now that they shower you in their bursts of yellow blooms and weightless white petals drifting early to the ground;
when the smell of Freesias coat the breeze that drifts through the windows that have been closed too long.
today is the day you know spring is coming.

On Rove lastnite...

Other than the scrumdiddlyumptiously tasty Johnny Depp as a guest, the still-cute-at-50 Denise Scott appeared for a quick spiel about her new breakfast radio gig with Jean Kittson on Vega FM.
In this short appearance Ms. Scott read a passage from a children's book, written to create rhythmic intonation in kids or something.
It went like this:

Pound, pound, pound, My Boy
Pound, pound, pound your toy.
Pound it hard, pound it fast.
Pound it 'til your done at last.

Judy
Could anyone be loved anymore
than I love you?
does it hurt you too?

but Judy
I've been feeling small too long
I love you so
but something's wrong

Cause I come running when you want me here
and when you want me to, I disappear
give Judy my notice

I knew if I made it easy for you
you'd settle for me, yeah eventually

But Judy,
I won't be your bitch anymore
and follow you 'round
and hold the door

Cause I can't do this any longer
the vacuum left is so much stronger
give Judy my notice
give Judy my notice

Judy you know I'm not mad anymore
at least most of the time
but it could take a while
I've been living just to see you smile
every once in a while

tears fall
but that don't mean nothing at all
Just cause I said it first
yeah that's why it hurts ya

And i'm not sorry if
you're not sorry too
and you're not sorry
till I make you

Give Judy My Notice

I dreamt 2 strange things lastnite.

One was that I was back at school - which isn't too odd a dream. I have had a couple of dreams where I've been back in school uniform with other people even though we all know we've all graduated from highschool. But this one was more that I was working with the teachers and current students as a former student, yet still had to wear the uniform and go to some classes. It was weird.

Then the other dream that I had could have possibly been from me hearing a message come thru on my phone in my sleep. I dreamt that the-one-we-all-now-know-as-"fuckhead"'s wife evidently sent out a mass sms to all the contacts in her phone inviting people to a baby shower or something. I showed everyone and they all said the same thing I did: "fuck off!". Then I wondered why she still had my number in her phone, and whether or not I should message her saying 'what the hell?', but I think I decided not to, then woke up.

OMG
today was the best!
I worked 4.5 hours as a facepainter and got the same as i would for 13hours of herb farm work!
I got to paint myself and various other people of the same age... relatively speaking.
And yes, I'm still wearing it all.
Here is a pic of me (albeit a rather icky one) talking to my folks in my room when I got home.

Next to me is my guitar, freshly recovered with all my badges. Wow, i thought i had more than that. I must buy more now that I know how few I own!

My new carpet goes in tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have time to paint that wall in the morning. Woohoo. painty fun. Carly and Kirsty should come paint too and we'll take shots for the cover of our first album "Parking is fun" for our newly formed band, Selfish In Paint.
I don't know what each of us do, or what we sound like, but you should all want us cos we're rockstars now. I expect our album to be on the shelves a grand total of 10.2 seconds before being sold out.

hey guys. sorry i've not been blogging lately, and when i have it hasnt been very worthwhile reading.
I'm afraid this post is going to be the same.
First of all, hello to Ben, and I love you so so so much. There, that's to make up for the tiny mention he got before which upset him greatly.
Who hasnt bought their tickets to Missy Higgins and Ben Lee at the Adelaide Uni Lawns yet? You'd better, cos a line up like that will sell out quickly. I got mine the other day, and one for Ember.
And I got my tickets to Garbage, and paid my car rego and bought jeans and massage oil and various other things and now i'm somewhat broke.
Claps though to the stupid girl working at the bowling alley lastnite that gave me $30 back instead of $20. that was very nice of her and it paid for my pancakes later on. It also made up for how rude she was to me on the phone when i called to book the lane earlier that evening, Kirsty pointed out.
Hey, here's Ben online now. Wahahey! I shall chat to him as I post.

So today I went to work and did some picking cos I wont be there tomorrow - I'll be face painting at the Brickworks Market for alot more money and for a shorter time, and my boss is standing in for me at the farm - so now i'm a bit muddy. I should really change, cos my workboots are still on and I cant really feel my toes too well.
Lastnight, as i mentioned already Kirsty and I went bowling. We each won a game. Then we went and looked at the arcade games and found most of them were broken - after making two little men on the ice-hockey table fight with their sticks, we figured that must be why.
Then we went to have pancakes in Adelaide with Carly and ended up at the Duke of York where we spoke to boys about vibrators. True story. When i got home at about 2:30am i had to hang up my new jeans in front of the heater to dry all the spilt drinks etc that they soaked up from the dance floor.
Yeah, 2:30am. Not bad for my 'early night' i was planning. I stood by the window at one stage thinking 'how the fuck did I end up here? I just went out to bowl and come home!'
Carly had fun dancing and Kirsty had fun 'walking' carly around the dance floor by the shoulders and occasionally doing this lunge at us with her head to startle us. Oh, and giving us 'vag faces' by wetting her hands on the rained-on rails outside, rubbing them together and bringing the moisture to body temperature, then rubbing them on our cheeks and faces. It was icky, but funny... well the joy with which she did it was funny, not so much the sensation.
I amused my cynical self by mocking the drunks - and there was no shortage of this indulgence. That and calling people whores.
Speaking of whores, Ben just said that everyone in the talented cast of Equus were all very good. I said i know. But it's nice to be reminded. Most of them will be asked to partake in my 'Fractured Faerietale' in Jan 2007.I shall only cast people with presence and talent... so of course that means NO HELEN.
It specifically states in the script that she is not to be cast. I have to go by the playwrights stipulations... regardless of whether it's only me or not.
So only my elite little group shall be faeries (even scary ones) and giants and evil queens and pirates! PIRATES DAMMIT! And a the golden egg. No Goose. Just the egg. And it says only "EGG!" And music by ben and I!!!

Okay, I'm getting creative, I think it's time to write.

Laying in bed, laptop at the ready to jot things down and copy them to blogger when i'm back online, i was thinking "hey, is it still tuesday nights that we put the garbage bin out?"So i got up, gathered my rubbish bag and the one from the kitchen and went outside. When i pulled the roller door up, and looked up and down the street, I saw no other bins and realised "oh yeah, they changed it to tomorrow night didn't they?"
It was then I noticed how not totally freezing I was. I stood on the driveway, looking up at the crystal clear sky with the millions of stars winking down at me and the yellow moon hanging over the schoolgrounds, and it was really really nice. I expected my feet to turn to ice and my nose to freeze as soon as I came outside, but instead I gazed at the sky in my pyjama's for a moment, stupidly still holding my bin by the pull-handle.
Today I went to the chiropractor for my fortnightly tune up. My usual lady wasn't there, but some cute lil man instead. His name was Allen... I choose to spell that with an E. It was the best chiro visit I'd had because a) for a temp guy he knew what he was doing b) he chatted with me and was happy and nice, and c) one of the ways he adjusted my spine required him to kinda hug me and it was really nice :P
When he did my neck and you have to full on relax and make your head flop, he said he liked people that did what I was doing and could just basically surrender on comand - which is very unlike me - instead of tensing up and making it hard and painful. I said it took me some practice and that when Gina first did it I was probably quite the opposite. I wanted to say that it helped that he was a bit of a spunk. If the adjusting table was as large and comfy as the massage table I may have been having a small fantasizing session :P
Mehehe. Meh he was cute and it kinda made my day......that and getting a hug from Emzy my old Media teacher at highschool, an seeing April twice in one day. Oh and Ben and Katie and Matt. One day I'm going to get a picture of Matt and a Matty-like pic I found of Ben Folds and post them up here. Sometimes it's scary. Katie sung today "I've had sex with Ben Folds, I've had sex with Ben Folds." I had to remind her that her Mattyboy is niether a musician nor American. She didn't seem to care much.

i've been asking myself...

so I've been thinking lately about what I want right now.

in the partner/boyfriend/girlfriend kinda way?
it surprised me a little to discover that i'm not really looking for love. surprised because that's usually what i'm in the game for. but right now i reckon i'm just after someone to cuddle me and to kiss, (and maybe to play with sometimes too :P).
ha how very 'me'.
but it's silly how much i still roll over in bed late at night and miss someone laying beside me; miss leaning over and waking someone up with a gentle good morning kiss.
you'd think i'd be used to not having it, especially since the times i've actually done that were few and far between, and a long time ago now.
so yeah, i guess i'm not lovesick, just lonely. i'm even dreaming things now so that i wake up and say 'yeah i knew that was too good to be true' and have to laugh at myself cos as if that girl i knew since Year 2 would like girls and if she did what the hell would she be doing with a pleb like me?

in the job/education kinda way?
something where i can not be a frikkin horticultural farmer on my weekends. still i'd rather that to many other jobs i've found, hence why i'm still there, but my back and my wallet are starting to scream at me to find something else.
i want to get into this TAFE multimedia course so that i can get some sort of accreditation behind my name, so that when i apply for things i can stop saying 'uh well i dont actually have any pieces of paper to support that i know anything, but i've been at uni since the dawn of time and feel like i still just started... so... wanna hire me?'.
what i'd really like to do though is take my small enterprises of Media Flea and Laugh- Anon Entertainment thrust forward. perhaps i'll take on some sort of MYOB thingo and actually get my shit sorted and have a business venture going. now that'd be cool.

in the home/house/family kinda way?
get me the fuck out of here. that's all i can really say. hence my search for a more substantial income.
i patiently await for when i can move into a unit on my own i can forget the increasingly frequent wars of my brother against my parents, and my parents against each other.
i've told them all since i was a child to keep me out of it.
i was slandered as a fence sitter, but i still say today that i'd rather sit on the fence than crucify myself on it, or others which is worse.
enough said.
call me what you like for thinking this, the deadly sin of pride I know, but sometimes of guilty of thinking i'm the best thing this family ever produced. and it pisses me off that my parents see that as something that they've done.
"what a great kid we've raised" they think.
sorry folks, but even as a cub i just saw what was in front of me and vowed not to turn out the same... meh, i guess they could say it was their doing then :P

in the 'save the world' kinda way?
I want the war to end. i want all wars to end. i want to fight in a war against war.
i want people to stop abusing their bodies and their world and each other.
I want every sex offender to be castrated and thrown to the vultures, poachers to be let loose in the wild with no weapons or food, and victims of any form abuse of all ages to have closure and find peace.
I want more areas to embrace wind power. I want to be better disciplined when it comes to recycling and the environment and each everyday thing I do that effects my world.

yeah. i know. i want too much. thinking at 2:33am hurts.

pirategirl wrote in the notebook:

Sometimes you get really lucky

on Monday afternoon, Mousie and I went down to the Christies' Creek Tunnel to take some shots of him. I'm told i'm not allowed to see how they came out, because his skin 'looks wrecked'... what a girl.
Anyway, we approached the tunnel, which to all the non-locals is an enormous corrugated iron drain that runs under the trainline so the creek can overflow if need be over the concrete floor and continue its course to the sea (haha yeah right, the Christies Creek overflow, ha ha ha). It's stupidly huge for a drain and could easily accomodate a whole other trainline or something thru it. Over the years its acquired a whole heap of graffiti from gangs and crews that came and went, and the sound you get simply from talking by the entrance is really quite something; I've always wanted to film down there just to capture the nice echoey sound.
So yeah, Mousie and I were walking to the eastern entrance when we heard a weird sound, Mousie froze and asked "what the fuck was that?"
I peered far down to the western end and could just see that rocks were being thrown from the otherside of the trainline high above and into the entrance and water, creating a rather impressive sound effect. Some of the rocks were huge and made pretty cool noises as they either richoted off the walls and floor, or 'splooshed' into the pool of smelly Christies water.
From the voices and laughter that travelled down the tunnel surprisingly clearly to us I gathered it was just a bunch of teenagers killing time after school. Later on when one came down to retrieve some rocks and reload, the backpack and navy uniformish attire confirmed my guess.
I told Mousie what was happening. He looked warily down the tunnel and said "I hope they dont come down here..."
I stroked his sculpted hair and cooed "Don't worry Princess, I'll protect you."
So anyway we started the shoot in the fading light, I didnt like the camera Mousie asked me to use and we were soon caught up in the 'ins and outs' of a shoot, when a man came walking down the same path we had come from. Just a guy taking a walk.
He started down the tunnel and I took advantage of having a silhouette of someone in the distance behind Mousie and we were snapping happily away as the man continued his afternoon walk.
Soon we heard an almighty boom as a shower of rocks - one or two twice the size of housebricks, and others a size that I found myself momentarily wondering how on earth those kids managed to launch them - hailed down what Mousie and I estimated at about a metre in front of the man walking down the tunnel.
His head could have easily been crushed... Like a cockle shell under a hammer.
These kids were no longer killing time. They could have killed a whole lot more.
The man just stood and stared at the ammo that had fallen short of crushing his skull for a moment, most probably realising how close he'd been to being killed. He glanced back up the tunnel at us. We were just standing and staring, I took a few shots and said quietly "Uh, yeah, I wouldn't keep walking that way mate" and only thought afterward that he probly could have heard me thanks to the tunnel's phonomenal sound effects. I felt slightly guilty that when he passed us I didnt warn him about what was happening down there.
A kid came down and there was a small exchange between him and the man, Mousie and I were talking to each other so I didnt hear what was being said, but we kept watching them expecting some sort of altercation to take place.
I got the camera ready, realising the position Mousie and I were now in.
Thankfully - and for some reason, rather disappointedly - I watched the kid let the man pass and he continued on his walk up the western path, although now I guessed he had something to ponder while he walked, if he hadnt already.
Mousie and I finished off what we could in the now rather pathetic light, and left the tunnel gratefully.
I think all of us left the place with the event on our mind.
Makes you think, dont it?

FROM: MR LERATO SEDIBETEL:
+27 83 954 7495
PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL
Dear Sir,
I know that this business proposal will come to you as surprise since we don't know each other before, but that doesn't mean that you will not be of a great help to me, but firstly let me introduce myself, I am Mr. LERATO SEDIBE. the CHIEF AUDITOR OF AMALGAMATED BANKS OF SOUTH AFRICA (ABSA). There is an account opened in this bank in 1982 and since 1992 nobody has operated on this account again but all this came to light after an internal auditing that I conducted last year November 2004 by going through some old files in the records, I discovered that if I do not remit this money out immediately it would be forfeited for no reason. The owner of this account is MR PAT MEHRABAN IRANI, a foreigner and a miner at Kruger Gold Co, a geologist by profession and he died since 1990.No other person knows about this account or anything concerning it, the account has no other beneficiary and my investigation proved to me as well that this company does not know anything about this account and the amount involved is (USD11.5M) ELEVEN MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATE DOLLARS.
I am only contacting you as a foreigner because this money cannot be approved to a local bank here, but can only approved to any foreign account because the money is in US DOLLARS and the former owner of the account was MR PAT MEHRABAN IRANI.We will sign an agreement, but I assure you that it is real and a genuine business. Please reply urgently so that I will inform you the next step to take immediately. Send also your private telephone and fax number including the full details of the account to be used for the deposit. More so, I want us to meet face to face in other to sign a binding agreement together so that we can receive this money into a foreign account or any account of our choice where the fund will be safe and I will fly to your country for withdrawal, sharing and other investments.
I am contacting you because of the need to involve your full co-operation on how to make this work fine. I have correct information of this account, which will give to you later, if you are able and willing to handle such an amount of money in strict confidence and trust according to my instructions and advice for our mutual benefit. Please I don't want to make a mistake, I need your strong assurance and trust. With my position now in the office I can transfer this money to any foreign reliable account, which you can provide with assurance that this money will be intact pending my physical arrival in your country for sharing. I will destroy all documents of transaction immediately we receive this money leaving no trace to any place. You can also come to discuss with me face to face after which I will make this remittance in your presence and two of us will fly to your country at least two days ahead of the money will enter the account. I will use my position and influence to effect the legal approvals and onward transfer of this money to your account with appropriate clearance forms of the Ministries and foreign exchange departments. At the conclusion of this business, you will be given 30% of the total sum, 60% will be for me, and meanwhile 10% will be for expenses both parties might have incurred during the process of transferring. I look forward to your earliest reply.
Kind regards,
Mr. LERATO SEDIBE
-----
dear Mr Lerato,
thanks so much.
I feel really privilieged that you chose me, especially since the 'To' box in the email you sent had only the same email address from which you were sending from, so I must be doubly special as it still managed to find its way to me.
Sadly tho, I'm going to have to decline. I think being involved with millions of US dollars will severely disrupt my Youth and Students allowance from centrelink.
You understand.
love and kisses
me

Guy Pearce and Terrence Stamp are flying the inflatable doll with a frock on as a kite. Hugo Weaving arrives with Bill Hunter and when Pearce sees the car coming he lets go of the 'kite' and it flies off on its own. In the shot of the kite taking off by itself in the blue sky, just before it cuts away the kite makes a shadow against the sky!!

The Lion King:
Okay, so most of us know about the cloud of dust that flies up when Simba lays down, and then forms the word 'sex' briefly before dissipating and flying off to Rafiki. But have you seen the second time the word appears? After the ghost or whatever of Mufasa tells Simba to go back and be the kind etc, and he takes off into the grass and Rafiki is going banana's and there's all the African chanting that gives me goosebumps and shooting stars are going off and its all very inspiring.... look at the background stars. S...E...X can be clearly seen spelled out in the bright little dots in the nightsky.

Stargate SG-1: Series Pilot
Macgyver himself, Richard Dean Anderson is going down - got that? "down" - to the sub levels of the base to go talk about the Stargate and blah blah blah. He and some anonymous henchman solider who probly doesnt have a name so therefore will die soon enter an elevator and head down the rest of the way. Then there's a cutaway shot of the top of the elevator going down... except there's an elevator cable hanging.... hanging "up".... yes, gravity ceases to exist in this base.
