Truth be told, I'm not sure what to do with them. Probably send them to dirtyfound.com. The funny thing is that they must have recently gone on a trip... because a tag containing a name and address was still on the case.
And I'm sorry but if you're that ugly, dont take pictures of yourself and/or partner doing... stuff like that... ewwwwwww
Eli and I are some awesomely smexy biatches. We went down to Pt. Elliot and stole Scott's studio and camera and I showed him how to setup lights and gels etc. I told him about composing shots and things to look out for. Nice to see I learnt something from my portrait photography stint. Then we got schmancy and costumed and broke out the handcuffs and piratey things and away we went. I added fancy things to that vegas one cos I want to print it. I already have the first piratey one where I look pregnant framed on my wall. The one just there where I look like Eli's gimp makes me cack it.
I go to dayshift again for a few weeks next week. Thank heavens for that.
This week I had a customer abuse me and my bosses and security swooped on him and kicked him out. I personally didn't care too much he said the choice words he said, but they all told me that they had zero tolerance for dealers being spoken to like that and he was being 'flicked'. I felt looked after.
Even the supervisor who I had earlier butted heads with asked if I was okay. Earlier he had almost made me cry whilst on the floor when he belittled me and made me feel stupid in front of customers and another dealer when correcting a mistake I made. It wasn't the correction I had a problem with, I was wrong, fair enough, but his manner upset me. He could have taken me aside quietly and or just told me straight out, but instead he used sarcasm and rhetorical questions so that I got confused and we wasted time while I stared at him going red not even knowing what he was talking about. Yeah, made me look way professional.
Anyway, with this crap onboard, I stole away early lastnite and recieved many welcome cuddles from a sleepy possum girl. Things were better falling asleep in her arms. Again, I felt looked after.
Thankyou for taking it all away xxx I'm a very lucky pirate.
I look hot in a cravat.... I mean, aren't we sweet?
Awwwwww
At the Pancake Kitchen on Monday night.
Lastnight I connected to their webcam and called my friend Sarah who was there and freaked her out telling her what she was wearing. Hilarity.
Hand Me Down - Matchbox 20
Someday they'll find your small town world
On a big town avenue.
Gonna make you like the way they talk
When they're talking to you.
Gonna make you break out of your shell
Cuz they tell you to.
Gonna make you like the way they lie
Better than the truth.
They'll tell you everthing
You wanted someone else to say.
They're gonna break your heart, yeah
From what I've seen
You're just one more hand me down
Cuz no one's tried to give you
What you need
So lay all your troubles down
I am with you now.
Somebody oughta take you in
Try to make you love again,
Try to make you like the way they feel
When they're under your skin.
Never once do you think that they would lie
When they're holding you.
Then you wonder why they haven't called
When they said they'd call you
You'll start to wonder
If you're ever gonna make it by
You'll start to think
You were born blind
From what I've seen
You're just one more hand me down
Cuz no one's tried to give you
What you need.
So lay all your troubles down
I am with you now.
I'm here for the hard times
The straight to your heart times
When living ain't easy
You can stand up against me
And maybe rely on me
And cry on me, yeah
Oh no, no, no
Someday they'll open up your world
Shake you down to the drawing board.
Do their best to change you
They still can't erase you
From what I've seen
You're just one more hand me down
Cuz no one's tried to give you
What you need
So lay all your troubles down
I am with you now
Lay them down on me
You're just one more hand me down
And all those knights don't give you
What you need
So lay all your troubles down
On me.
Today I managed to spend $125 at a variety store. That, my friends, takes skill.
My 'To-Get' list finally has been shrunk, plus some impulse buys. The uggboots and welcome mat have been on there all winter, and the speakers have been about 2years coming. The book, dvds, and pens were all spontaneous retail therapy. And the chips and drinks were for my guests this evening. The guest list not really expecting to look much different than any other day, consisting probably of only Eli and Lauren. But hey, another evening spent with my girls is just fine with me :)
ROCK ON! I just learnt I've paid off 10,350 from my car in just over a year. I rock!
anyway on to more important things.
This morning I was driving home through the Adelaide Hills, choosing the cross-country route in favour of the peak hour traffic urban route not only for the time/bother it saved, but also I thoroughly enjoy travelling through the Hills, especially when it's foggy like it has been the last couple of mornings.
I go back to work tonite, a late one means my bedtime has become noon... which means also that I should get to bed soon. I've been enjoying my couple of days off catching up Eli and Lauren and I saw the boys from work Monday night.
