I cleaned out a corner of my room and all my bits of paper and found something I've been meaning to post for about 18months.
August 11th
The two girls looked at one another in the darkness. The scene illuminated by a solitary streetlight, whose hum seemed magnified in the silence that followed. Each eyed the other; both beautiful, both sad, both alone. Finally, one spoke. She raised her hand to the other's cheek and brushed her fingers lightly over her skin. It was a cold night and she saw her companion shiver. "Go home," she said softly, almost sighing in her defeat. "Go back to your life before me. Go back to your house, and your children and your partner. For they are more to you now than I will ever be."

Go back to your friends, and your fun and your freedom. For they are more to you now than I will ever be."
I dunno, I just like it.
