3 weeks and $523 later

Hey I just found this.

Basil and I were snapped by Jordan and put in Blaze the night we went to the Ed to see Cleo and watch the drag queens get their heads shaved for the cure.
On the subject of The Greatest Shave, which closed on the 18th, I was sponsored a total of $523: More than double my original target of $200, and still smashing my revised target of $400.
Rock on guys.
Not only am I used to it now, I'm starting to like it. With a bit of a part happening and plans to get some frosting or something done. I've been playing with spikes too, but that picture was taken after I'd had a shower after work and washed the product out.
The attention of 3 lesbians in one day in Chermside shopping centre is just one example of me feeling spunkier for it :P
But not only that... hmm I've been reluctant to blog this for fear of sounding a bit lame... but it's like everything that was holding me back or dragging me down fell away with my hair. As we've read earlier this year I'm doing really well in myself, but with the crop came an extra ounce of that feeling of freedom.
Perhaps I'm just trying to sound profound and link the two, but really I am feeling like a new person.
New hair, new job, new routine and soon new car.
It's like a new me, and someone I hate far less than the person I used to feel like.
Meh, I dunno. Just something that's been floating around my head for a while.
If you'll pardon the pun.
