Greetings from tiredsville!
Ok, now that I resolved to actually post something, I've gotten here and just really really really don't feel like it.
I'll attempt it, but if I ramble, live with it... well, you do anyway.

This time next week I'll be at the Hard Rubbish Cafe in Rhymill Park chilling out after a hard day's work of facepainting at 2 soiree's... grateful to have some money again.
This Friday night is my graduation, after which I will be allowed to deal to my friends and family with fake money for about an hour - it'll be the only time I can do so, otherwise its strangers at the table. Later that evening instead of joining my classmates at the Strath across the road and getting drunk I'll head over to Rhymill and hang with my artsy crowd - a much preffered company choice... a bunch of talented performers making merry and partaking in various forms of improv delight whilst relaxing on couches under the stars and fairy lights, or cramped in a pub filled with smoke with a few dozen people you've spent the last 4 weeks in hideously close contact with getting slowly (or quite rapidly) blind drunk complete with their moronic friends and relatives (some speculative license taken there)... tough choice.
I kinda hope my classmates (those I give a damn about) don't get offended that I choose the Fringe Festival over that atmosphere, but if they do then so be it. They know by now that that's me, and hopefully some will come too :)

The next day we'll be back again in (hopefully) full creative force so if you can juggle or unicycle or facepaint or do anything remotely entertaining and I havent called you to come yet - let me know! I want our troupe to own Saturday and bring in as many folks to the Hard Rubbish Cafe as are going to the Garden of Unearthly's. Not to mention, our fans too.

No real offence to the Garden, but the folks at the Hard Rubbish are alot more personable.
Especially to us! "Anytime you want to perform, or do anything, you're welcome"?? How can I not be biased! They love us so we love them doubly back!

Then Sunday I'll be in the Rose Garden in Willunga for a couple hours facepainting, then continuing said activity back in Rhymill. I don't know which of our fans are coming to that, but either way we'll be there. Even if I'm supposed to play at Billy Baxters' that day (?) I'll hit the Fringe afterwards... I'll have a few free days after that (to recover no doubt) before I begin my first shift as a croupier - night shift too... 'hello deep end'.

They love and trust me and have enough confidence in me to know that I'll be okay on the night shift on a weekend. And if not, well we'll soon find out.
My trainer let me go at lunchtime on Friday because I had a birthday party-weekend to go to and I had to drive a few hours to get there. They said it was because I work so hard.
Yay!

I had lot of fun this weekend too. Which is good because at first I wasn't going to go, shuffling work and other commitments seemed too heavy but after a while I just said why the fuck not a weekend away will do me good, so off I went and I'm so grateful. After suffering from cabin fever with the rest of your insipid training school (insipid being the majority of anyway), with no air and no sunlight and battling back a cold and trying to squeeze more hours out of the day as possible training by day and Fringing by night, it was good to have a fun couple of days with likeminded people that love me.

We should all do that more; seek out likeminded people who love us. Time spent like that is most certainly healthy for the soul in my opinion.
On that note, I dropped into Nessa's on the way home but she was out, and Katie was out also. So instead I went home, made Eliza's bed, had some tea, accompanied Tanya to Brodie's show (damn that kid has grown up alot and has a fair slice of potential as a performer! I'm stealing him in a couple years methinks), and now I'm here about to hit the hay for I'm a tired lil pirate and I have another stupidly early start tomorrow.

Sleep tight.
