week five

So workplace politics are present everywhere. Unfortunately, despite the fact that i've no permanent physical workplace to speak of, i am unable to avoid it here.

I just dislike being roped in to disagreements in which I wish no part.

I'd rather sit on the fence than hang myself on one side or the other.

Sigh I dunno. Sometimes i wish i could just work and come home and thats the end of it. I'm waiting for the cabin fever to become unbearable.

I'm aware that these are my issues, and I don't like to blame anyone for issues that i have. And i don't like bitching about people or tattling to other staff members what people have done. I don't see what positivity it brings about... And i guess what bugs me is the fact that some people do not share this philosophy.

Today was my day off.
I geocached a bit, one of the hides was on a hardcore terrain which meant my treasure hunt doubled as a workout.
Very proud of myself. Everytime i thought i couldnt run up a slope i'd pump myself up and tell myself 'up you go, you're bigger than this hill'.

So with my soul revitalised I delve back into the fray for another almost-fortnight. Then i come home for a week and hug the breath out of the dozen or so people i've been missing.

I hope my last week goes well so that I actually want to come back. Ha. Will try and pick up some shifts at the cas too for some extra $$
